Visited grill. Chips hard. Cream not so good. Service fine
Was here for a Christmas dinner and party. Service in the bar was fine, prices predictably high for a hotel like this but a good choice of drinks. The dinner was upstairs and we were rammed in like sardines. The food which managed to get to our plates, rather than being dropped on our clothes, was mediocre at best. Service was nigh on impossible for the staff due to the numbers and how tightly they packed us in, hence the amount of food being spilt on the guests. The Christmas crackers were dreadful, cheap and tacky. The entertainment was good, the band was worth watching and played good music, however not Christmas party stuff! I would pay to listen to them any other time of year though.On the whole for 30 per head it really wasn't value for money. Will I be back next year? Unlikely!
My wife and I had a most enjoyable stay overnight at the Templeton Hotel before flying out from the International Airport on our holidays the next day. The staff were most helpful and the food was excellent. We will be staying there again when going on our holidays.
Loved this experience. Visited here a lifetime ago when it was the Pig and Chicken. What memories it brought back and the Pianoist played "As time goes by" which was great. Also had lovely meal and hope to visit again in the future.
Fantastic hotel!Have to say the best hotel we have stayed in for a long time.Every part of the experience was great from the check in service, bar staff, housekeeping and the breakfast staff as well. Nothing was too much hassle and made the kids had great interaction from the staff also.Will definitely be staying again.
