If you're into birds and wildlife in general, it's a really worthwhile visit. Various species of owls from around the world to see along with a few other birds of prey thrown in for good measure. I took my grandson aged 5 here and he enjoyed it. Indoors they have a reptile house with various species of snakes and lizards and a small playground as well. Good way to spend an hour or two with the family. Considering many of these birds have been rescued from what would otherwise have been terrible conditions for them, I think the people here have done a tremendous job. The entrance fee is pretty reasonable and considering this goes towards the upkeep of the birds, I would see it as a worthwhile donation.

Ok place to visit but be careful of the staff. The guy who runs this place is positively obnoxious!! He had several goes at me for allegedly rolling my eyes at him after he corrected my child for something he didn't do!! Utterly ruined our experience there... never again!! Go ahead release the video footage!! I would personally love to see it!! My child was sitting on the floor at least 2ft away from the owl keeping his hands to himself while you were outside the building talking on the phone!!! You are such a blatant liar!!

Mike came out to my son's birthday to do an educational talk and show some owls and other animals. It was fantastic! All the children who attended were blown away and have been talking about it for days afterwards. The children were aged 4 to 11, but most were about 8 years old. I would emphasize that it's not a "show" and the kids must behave well and not frighten the animals. World of Owls is a charity dedicated to looking after mistreated or injured birds and animals. Its primary purpose is not entertainment. I don't think Mike suffers fools (or misbehaviour) gladly judging from some of his review responses, but we found him extremely likeable.

Excellent! First of all, it's in a beautiful setting. Not only do you have the opportunity to see these majestic birds (and other animals) up close, you also get to learn about their history and habitat. Great family day out!

Fabulous find. Went here for my niece's birthday as she loves Owls. Small, family run Sanctuary with an amazing Owl and Bird of Prey collection. Staff are fabulous and were great with both my nieces. Definitely worth a visit
